Ohio Native Landscapes is a family-owned business started by husband and wife team Jackie Young and Nathan Sansone in 2020. We strive to create beautiful, native, and environmentally low-impact yard solutions for the residential communities of Northeast Ohio. Landscaping companies routinely use plants that simply don’t mesh with Ohio’s climate, or they favor invasive plants, which often outcompete pre-existing natives. We have made it our company's mission to work with the existing environment- not against it. When you plant native, your ecological footprint dwindles because you’re not forced to use harsh pesticides or burn fossil fuels in an attempt to tame your garden. Native plants require less water because they’re adapted to the existing environment, which over time minimizes land erosion, saving you money on water bills and property costs.

Planting native on your property fosters growth in these deeply important ecological systems by feeding critical butterfly, bird, and insect populations. These creatures might be small but their impact is anything but. If more people adopted this mindset, we could create ecological corridors for these vital native populations and help undo some of the negative impact we've had on our local environment.
